Hi! I’m Jason Zhang. I’m currently in High School (TJHSST Class of 2027). My main interests are mathematical logic (set theory, model theory, etc.) and theoretical computer science (computability theory, algorithms, automated reasoning/ML, etc.). I’m starting to explore fields such as category theory and type theory.

This was the culmination of a months long course at Euler Circle where one indepedently wrote an expository paper and presentation (with some general guidance provided) on some advanced mathematics topic. The following is meant as an introduction to the foundations of the transfer principle in nonstandard analysis.
The materials found here were for a guest lecture at a TJVMT SARML session on 8/7/2025. The topic is the subject of combinatorial set theory and the relevant background needed to understand some of the theorems.
